If it weren't for strippers and beer, it would be a tough time to live in America boys! Doesn't it seem that ever since Reagan, the two ruling parties have gone to their loony extremes leaving the majority of the country in a big empty hole?! I've become one of many of the voters in this country that go to the ballot box to vote for the guy that isn't as fucked up as the other choice. The third party option is there but until they start winning some local stuff (where they actually can do something) it is more of a throw away vote. Dance for me Angie, will you please?!

I have to admit, W is the kind of guy I'd like at my backyard bar-B-Q, I voted for him twice now but it is only because Al Gore and John Kerry are close to being my least favorite people ever. Who the Hell drives in a fleet of giant SUVs to go lecture people on global warming (Gore) or better still, announce plans to filibuster a supreme court candidtate without enough votes to pull it off from friggin Switzerland?! Another Curley Stout please!

What is really disturbing about the Conservatives these days is the fact that they are driven by the Christian Right. I know these guys well from being in the middle of it all in North Carolina for two years. They have no interest in dialogue with anybody, they think they know all the answers based of course, on their interpretation of the Bible. They have run a powerful campaign to dupe peole into thinking that thisa is what America truly is but I think most people don't realize what their agenda is. Dean Wormer once said "Fat and stupid is a terrible way to go through life" and unfortunately most Americans don't bother with politics all that much. If we voted every four years for the greatest American athlete, we'd get 90% voter turnout! I'll tsalk more about this later, I need another beer. Sure it's only 10am but it must be happy hour somewhere......

Comments:
You know, SickOE, I hadn't heard about the Kerry fillibuster comment coming from Switzerland, when you wrote this. What an idiot. You know if the Democrats are ever to win a national election again, they have to pledge that they won't let Kerry or Kennedy within 100 yards of a camera or microphone. Actually I think there must be a mole for John Stewart or David Letterman in both of their offices. The stuff those guys do is just handed to the commedians. You've heard about Kennedy's new book, Splash, right? Unbelieveable. I need to do a post on my other blog about these guys, lest, anyone start to think I'm a Democrat.

Don't worry, I still think Bush sucks more.
