Where is the Republican?

Dems are Bad Times
By the time the year 2000 came around, the Clintons had worn out their welcome. With Whitewater, Nationalized healthcare, blowjobs, giving nuclear secrets to the Chinese, tax increases and the pardoning of scumbags, it's amazing that anyone in America would still say those two were great leaders. Al Gore talking down to everyone and not practicing what he preaches about the environment made him a candidate that wouldn't win the presidency. The fact that he got more votes nationwide was nothing more than an interesting statistic because it didn't matter. John Kerry?! The fact that he is not Bush is not a good enough reason to vote for him and I believe he would have been the worse choice for the country at the time.
W's First Term not Bush
After 911, a lot of democrats I knew admitted they were glad it was Bush in charge and not Gore. He handled that crisis very well and the public gave him the highest ratings for a president ever. When we threw out the Taliban, the world was with us. Although the war in Iraq is still unpopular, there were many reasons to go in with at least some military action there. Inspection violations, Oil for Food program corruption, the capture of several notorious terrrists including the mastermind of many bombings, Abhul Abbas, the threat of a biologic warfare program and a nuclear program. Any WMDs could easily have been smuggled out to Syria or could just be buried in the Iraqi sand. Europe complained loudly only because they were scared of their oil interests in Iraq.

Let's also remember that this isn't just Bush that is changing the country so much. The Senate, House and now the judiciary are dominated by conservatives. Why? Because the public voted them all in! Are you really surprised that conservatives would choose (what the?!)conservatives as judges?! I wonder how it would have gone if the lefties controlled everything? Call me crazy, but I think we would have a court filled will leftwingers! The solution for those that don't like the direction the country has gone since Reagan started it all should walk the talk by voting every chance they get and by living the way they believe is most progressive. The whining has done nothing but make the dems look like the left wing nut jobs they've become.
