You’re lying right now!

The old saying, "How can we miss you if you won't go away" doesn't begin to say how I feel about these people. It seems like no matter where you find the most senseless violence and human rights abuses, you find the radical Muslims. As long as I have been watching the news (about 30 years) I have seen these guys walk into public places and blow themselves up, usually in Israel but now all over the world. When we try to do business them, set up shop or even just visit, there are huge problems. There is no negotiating with these people and we can't seem to make them go away. Even worse, they seem to be spreading this madness to what used to be civilized countries all over the world. Why can't governments stand up to them, particularly the secular Arab nations and shut down this nonsense?!

It almost seems like they don't do anything about it as long as the extremists focus their anger against the Jews and the USA. I read that when we learned of the events of 911, Arabs that live in our country were celebrating in the streets of near DC! We've tried to be PC in this country but it has done no good at all. Can you believe the violence occurring over a few stupid cartoons?

Everything I have read about Islam sounds like it would be a real good religion for some folks. Lots of tradition discipline and culture that actually has more in common with Christianity and Judaism that we realize. So why are there such hard lines drawn between Islam and other religions? Even more strange, why do Sunni Muslims and Shiite Muslims hate each other so? The 'religion of peace' seems to be having a hard time living up to its moniker. Perhaps, we only hear about the bad folks because it makes for such good TV. Al Jazeera likes to sensationalize Americans at their worst and it seems we get a lot of bad Arab press here. So what's the deal? How do people get so crazed that they're willing to destroy anything and everybody over a cartoon or because they simply not like them? Can anyone tell me?!
